Become a TEN Ambassador
TEN Ambassadors are regional representatives responsible for scheduling and running Awareness Events, recruiting party hosts, educating people at the events about human trafficking, helping hosts to present and sell products, and continually expanding their own knowledge and understanding of trafficking and other human rights issues throughout the world.
Becoming a TEN Ambassador gives you the opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of survivors of human trafficking and very high risk young women. Anyone who really cares about the issue can do it; you don’t need to be a great salesman or devote all of your free time. Ambassadors also use their own unique skills, ideas, and initiative to seek new ways to help, including bringing their own personality to parties and events (themes, decorating, food, audio-visual presentations). They also use their contacts to reach people in different ways, including tea parties, mural painting, and scrap-booking awareness events, and develop their leadership style to create and guide a team in the area.
TEN wants to make it easy for anyone to fight trafficking, but not everyone can afford to volunteer a lot of time. Therefore we offer Ambassadors the opporunity to make a commission on their sales. This is designed to offset expenses and compensate the Ambassador for their efforts. The commissioned Ambassadors don’t just sell the products; they recruit, train, and manage other Ambassadors.
