Fighting Human Trafficking and Slavery with Empowerment

How You Can Help Survivors of Human Trafficking

You can't imagine how easy it is to change a girl's life and offer her a future free of slavery and exploitation. Help us help survivors to rebuild their lives after rescue from slavery.

Host a Home Party or Community Awareness Event:

What could be more fun than changing the world, and doing it with your friends?!. A great way to help survivors and build community around social justice is to host a Shop for Freedom party. It's simple, empowering and fun -  you can host a party at your house or anywhere in your community. Click here to fill out a form expressing your interest, and someone from our events team will contact you with more information.  At the event you can sell the Made By Survivors products, letting your friends make an immediate impact in the lives of survivors - click here to learn more.  You can also become a MadeBySurvivors Ambassador (see below) and earn sustainable income while helping others in your community to host events that empower survivors.

Support the Survivors by Buying their Products:

Every purchase of a Made By Survivors Product helps us provide jobs and opportunity for survivors.   Every purchase helps the girls and the shelters that care for them.  We are a nonprofit organization, and all our profits go back into programs that fight slavery and empower women.  Gifts of Made By Survivors products are beautiful, and may inspire the recipient to join the cause.  Click here to shop online

Made a Tax Deductable Donation:

justgivebuttonOur overhead costs are covered by product sales and foundation grants so 100% of your donation goes right to survivors and shelters.

Sponsor a Child For School:

TEN/MadeBySurvivors sponsors 100 child survivors and kids born into brothels to attend school, many for the first time in their lives.  Sponsorships cost $25 a month, which pays for school fees, transportation, supplies and shelter or boarding school room and board.  Sponsorships are currently available in India and Nepal.   Click Here to Learn More about Sponsorship, or fill out a Registration Form.

Write your Name in Love - Sponsor the Destiny Center:

Our Calcutta Destiny Center is now one year old, and is providing a world of opportunity and hope to survivors from four Calcutta shelters.  “When the women first come to Destiny”, say founder Becky Bavinger “they are very timid and frightened, but after just one year, they are so confident and outgoing! The light has come back into their eyes. Many have saved their earnings and have moved out to the shelter to live independently. Being a part of that transformation is indescribably wonderful”.  We now invite you to be part of that transformation, by writing your name in love on the Destiny Center.  This means you commit to join us in maintaining a safe space, full of opportunity, for survivors, and the Destiny girls will literally paint your name on a wall of the Center.  Read More
